Cloud Resources Index

Cloud Resources Index
I would like to introduce you all my concept about CRI, Cloud Resources Index.Cloud Resources Index is a real-time number updated all IT related resources tracking worldwide international prices of cloud-based IT resources, in terms of computing power, networking, memory, and storage capacity.
According to the NIST's definition of cloud computing, cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.
This cloud model promotes availability and is composed of five essential characteristics, three service models, and four deployment models.

Essential Characteristics of Cloud Computing:
On-demand self-service.
Broad network access.
Resource pooling.
Rapid elasticity.
Measured Service.
Cloud Deployment Models:
Private cloud.
Community cloud.
Public cloud.
Hybrid cloud.

All IT resources are pooled together by advanced cloud infrastructure technologies so that all of the IT resource could be shared on-demand and than exchanged publicly ,like commodities.
Based on the Essential Characteristics of Cloud Computing, those IT resources have high availability, high reliability, and high elasticity. Hence those IT resources ought to have high readiness, in case of the demand from places wherever, and cloud resources are measured of use, those resources could be trade like commodities such as crude oil, gold, coffee, stock, etc.
Once IT resources are available for everyone and can be traded as commodities, it's possible to quantify the value of cloud IT resources as indices, such as NYSE.
That is to say that all IT resources could be traded on a platform and the price's of up and down depend on the demand of the market.
Furthermore, we can foresee a scenario that the Cloud Resources Index can be a result of trading or even can be designed as a financial product that investors decide to buy or to sell.
To conclude, CRI, Cloud Resources Index, acts like a temperature scale displaying the availability of cloud IT resources which is pretty critical for IT consumers, such as governments, and SMBs, enterprises to decide selling or buying resources for the future. Those organizations can utilize CRI index to budget IT capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) in advance so that increase business agility and additional value.
